Frequently Asked Question
F.A.Q.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is based on cost per inch. The diameter of the base of the stump is
multiplied by the cost per inch. A free estimate is provided, and we will beat
competitors pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An estimate will be done either remotely or onsite. A remote estimate is when
pictures are sent of stumps and its area by customer. Typically, remote estimates are provided when it is only 1-3 stumps. If there are more stumps, we will schedule an on-site estimate. An estimate will be provided along with pictures of the project and simple terms and conditions. Once customer agrees with estimate, they will accept it electronically and will be contacted to schedule services. It’s the customer’s preference to be present for an on-site estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained with tree professionals. The best training has been hands on.
Otherwise, there are not any certification requirements.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was suggested by a professional tree service company whose now one of our
business partners.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly have worked with homeowners in the southern metro Atlanta area., along with business owners and tree service companies.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am fond of all the jobs I have completed, literally! I take great pride in every job.
Most jobs range from 2-4 hours, and I assure that I will not leave you disappointed.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please be sure that you everything is in writing and that all your concerns are
voiced to ensure satisfaction. With stump grinding, the debris are left on site in a pile, and additional landscaping services are sometimes needed. Because of this, prior to my departure, I will leave the stump grinding area leveled out and sometimes whereas additional landscaping services isn’t needed.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Discuss your budget especially if there are multiple stumps and if there are any
concerns about the debris that it causes.
